Throughout the year, DQ® fans demonstrate commitment to creating memorable moments and making a difference in how Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals cares for kids. DQ® doesn’t just have food and treats that put a smile on your face– DQ® creates meaningful moments for kids and families in our community.

Participating DQ® locations invite you June 1- July 24 to buy a balloon and provide needed funds for local member hospitals to help bring health and hope for kids treated in Richmond. Your donations help Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals support the health of kids like Tristan!

Before his fourth birthday, Tristan began experiencing swelling under his eyes, which eventually expanded across his entire body. After visiting a local ER where tests revealed nephrotic syndrome, a kidney disorder that prevents the body from properly filtering waste and excess water from the bloodstream, Tristan was transported by ambulance to CHoR, where he began his journey with Dr. Timothy Bunchman, professor and chief, nephrology and other members of the nephrology team.
