Walmart and Sam’s Club spark good at CHoR

Children are our future. They deserve a childhood filled with joy, laughter and endless possibilities. But for many children facing serious illnesses, these simple joys can feel out of reach.

We believe in a world where every child has the chance to thrive. That’s why we’re partnering with Walmart and Sam’s Club to provide comfort and support to children in our community. From now until July 6th, Walmart and Sam’s Club locations across the country will be actively supporting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals like ours. You can easily donate at the register by rounding up your purchase to the nearest dollar, choosing a specific donation amount or simply adding a few extra dollars to your bill.

Your generous donations will directly support programs and research at Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU through Children’s Hospital Foundation:

• Life-saving treatments: Providing access to the most advanced medical care and innovative therapies.
• Groundbreaking research: Funding critical research that will lead to cures and better treatments for childhood illnesses.
• Essential support for families: Offering vital support to families, including financial assistance, emotional counseling and transportation.

Walmart Kilmarnock re-grand opening

Earlier this month, we stopped by the Walmart Kilmarnock (200 Old Fairgrounds Way, Kilmarnock, VA) re-grand opening to show our support as they launched their CMN Hospitals campaign. CMN Champion Jonah was proudly featured on campaign posters throughout the store. Before launching their campaign, associates from Walmart Markets 290 and 287 gathered at CHoR’s Northside campus, where they created cards for care teams and patients at Brook Road. See photos below.
