Celebrate Lunar New Year with Panda Express and help kids at CHoR!

Mark your calendars for January 29, 2025, as we ring in the Year of the Snake! Lunar New Year is a festive time to gather with family, friends and communities to welcome new beginnings. In true tradition, it’s a celebration filled with vibrant festivals, joy and, of course, the sharing of lucky foods to spread fortune and happiness for the year ahead.

Since 2007, Panda Express has been changing kids’ health to change the future at Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals by raising millions of dollars throughout the year. Associates ask guests to round up at the register, with every dollar donated creating a ripple effect in the community.  

This Lunar New Year, we invite you to visit your local Panda Express to celebrate and donate. In 2024 alone, millions were raised to fund programs and initiatives that help kids thrive. Additionally, many new Panda Cares Centers of Hope spaces were able to open including the one in our performance space in the Children’s Tower. The performance space promotes healing by providing uniquely curated programs that address each child’s entire well-being, including their mental, emotional, physical and spiritual needs. The Panda Cares Center of Hope recognition is in honor of Panda Express and guests that have raised nearly $420,000 for patients and families at Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU since 2010.
