Estes Express Lines delivers hundreds of books to CHoR

Estes Express Lines delivered in a big way during their Spirit Week in September by stocking the mobile book carts at Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU with hundreds of books for the kids. Over the last four years, the company’s philanthropic giving has supported CHoR’s vision for building the inpatient Children’s Tower and the meaningful resources offered inside. They also recently established a partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. With over 90 years of experience, the Richmond-based freight company, Estes is in it for the long-haul with CHoR.

While Estes employees stocked the carts, they also engaged in meaningful conversations with members of our CHoR team, expressing the undeniable impact CHoR has had on their team and our community. “As a family-focused company, we’re committed to supporting children’s health and finding new ways to bring that support to life, here in Richmond and throughout Estes’ network,” said Carrie Estes Johnstone, VP, customer experience and innovation.

Partners like Estes who are unconditionally committed to understanding what our patients and families need allow us to nurture the champion in every child together.
