Local Richmond Ace Hardware Retailers Participate in Bucket Days Aug. 4-6 to Change Kids’ Health
Ace customers like the reward of transformation. The ability to build, create and improve. That is why the helpful place makes it easy to create lasting change, including how Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU, a member hospital of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, cares for kids.
Each year, more kids need the custom care that only children’s hospitals provide. Children’s hospitals are on the frontlines when it comes to protecting the health of future generations. But they can’t do it alone.
Customers at Ace Hardware & Equipment in Ashland, Virginia stepped up to create a fun alien theme to encourage their customers to make a $5 donation to CHoR in exchange for a five-gallon bucket and 20% off almost everything that fits inside the bucket.
Critical funds were raised for kids treated at CHoR — kids like our September calendar kid Jonathan who has an undefeated record against cancer.
Together, we see what the future can be and are working to make it a reality. Because when we change kids’ health, we change the future – for all of us.
